Trust God To Meet The Need

All of us face problems and trials, and sometimes we ask "Where is God in all of this?" The Bible says in Romans 8:28 "And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are called according to his purpose." Remember, every person who belongs to God’s family (those who have accepted Jesus Christ as their Saviour), and who tries to do right and live right, can always expect God to meet their needs (not wants)—so be patient!

The world we live in also has its problems.

  • It is a doubtful world: comfort or poverty, feast or famine, success or failure.
  • It is a difficult world, as the best results don’t always come our way—instead, joblessness, health issues, family problems.
  • It is a sinful world. Sin is an infection from which no one can escape, unless they accept Jesus Christ as their Saviour and Lord.
  • It is a sorrowful world, as all of us grieve at some time.

But yet in many cases, no great deed was ever done, no great book ever written, no great hymn ever composed, unless the doer had first learned the lessons which sorrow teaches.

Remember, the false view of life is that everything is against us. The true view, if we have the Lord Jesus, is that all things are really for us. When all things seem against you, start counting your blessings: home, family, friends, church, and our blessed Lord and Saviour. When all things are against you, hold on in faith, and trust God to bring you through. It is not only that we have God on our side, but we want to be on God’s side. Need I say more—the choice is yours.
