Clean Again
"... the blood of Jesus Christ cleanseth us from all sin"
1 John 1:7
Have you ever been cleaning with soapy water and a cloth? Sometimes it’s a losing battle. You feel like throwing away the cloth or the water, or both, every minute or two. Maybe that is why the "Swiffer" is so popular. To a degree, our ability to clean is limited, we often work hard, but even with the best intentions and great effort, we fail to do the task perfectly.
Aren’t you glad that God isn’t limited in His work of atonement? There is no Limited Atonement because we have a Limitless God, He is Omnipotent and He has no limitations in any area. God is able to cleanse the heart, wholly, fully and completely. It is a one step process, a once for all transaction. It doesn’t matter that we can’t clean up the mess we make in our own lives through our own efforts. God’s says, in 1 John 1:9, "If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness." God does the cleansing work perfectly, to each who will ask, whenever or wherever they ask.
Our God is truly great, He is of great power and ability, and He wants to "clean up" your life today.
